My Powerful Nos

I’m grateful to myself today — and to the lovingly abundant guidance I receive — that encourage me to stand and speak my truth. It was a new feeling: to feel less afraid, less ashamed, and more empowered and safe to be stern, to express my disdain or refusal, and to say with honesty… I’m proud of myself.

For so many years, I’ve been subconsciously afraid to feel pride in myself. I held a belief system that spoke of pride as a negative energy — something that breeds ill will — or at least, that’s how I interpreted it. There were scales of justification I read, teachings that guided me toward sacred healing and truth, but often made me fearful of fully owning my strength.

Now, I realize that I’m allowed to view those truths as valid without invalidating my own truth. For me, pride doesn’t carry ego — it carries gentle love. It stands up for itself. It stands up for love. It stands up for life.

Pride celebrates the strength to trust oneself. And I now see how empowering that can be — especially for those of us whose self-sovereignty was once fearfully removed.

I’m grateful to you, Self — for seeing the truth in every situation and empowering the wholeness of your being. You know now that you will never be “okay” or “well” to others by their definitions — and that’s okay. What matters is that you are aligned within your own wellbeing: with the world, the universe, God, your soul, and the wholeness of your Source.

You can name your truth and allow the experience of life to nourish your wellbeing — or secure it through clarification and loving-kindness.

Thank you for continuing to release what is not yours to process, heal, carry, figure out, or fix.

You can say to yourself:

“I am not here to help everyone. I am here to help myself and share my gifts with those who value the love that I am.”

I honour who I am and who I am becoming, with deep reverence for the empowerment and energy that hold and enrich my life.

I love you. Be in your truth. Be in your empowerment. Love yourself fully. Know that true love is, and always will be, TRUE LOVE.

I always have — and forever more will — love you.

Always. Forever more.
