Learning To Love Myself
Everyday, regardless of how we feel, let’s choose to love ourselves.
I know it’s not always easy. Source knew how hard I struggled in the past to find some part of me that had the strength to see me clearly, as if I was some monster to be feared. But as I leaned in, dug my feet in—rooted, into the depths of my value, I saw myself clearly. I dusted away the grime that other people imprinted on me, the shame I was made to carry for them. Regardless of their acknowledgement of what has been placed in my life path, whether they choose to be accountable for it, is a weight I also refuse to carry.
Let the stream that is the life veins of Mother Earth carry and wash it all away. She is the strength we all lean on, the Lover we all adore.
This part of my life chapter is about being the daughter she’s created me to be — beyond the limitations of men, beyond the ways we thought we were meant to live. This Self-love Story about how I want to be in my life. It means I shape my reality, as best I am able. It means I am kind to myself, and it allows me to be kind to others with fierce boundaries.
Let this message of self-love remind you that you are allowed and capable of softening into who you are, especially in private and quiet moments in your life. You can talk to nature and Source and let them know what is happening with you and ask them to be part of your journey through this life.
I have. I have alway. Every waking moment of my life is my invitation to be loved by all of them. And my choices to keep on, to love on, to be brave are some of the gifts I have to offer for loving me so well.
